The Kingdom of Heaven: Is Planned
Faith is built for difficult times. From our point of view, it is easier to trust God when your job is great, your health isn’t a concern, and your relationships are humming along. But what happens when you are passing through the bumpy roads of loss and disappointment? What happens when you find yourself in the valley of the shadow of death? The Lord remains faithful. The faithful Lord meets the needs of our bodies and our souls. As we see thousands gather to listen to our Savior speak, he feeds them miraculously. As Christians pass through troubled waters, he promises that nothing can separate us from his tremendous love. The life of the Apostle Paul was a testament to God’s mercy, patience, and faithfulness. God called a persecutor to do something that seemed insane to Festus. Paul proclaimed the Jesus he once persecuted to be the Savior of the world. This is our calling and our prayer. May the God of all power and patience work through our words and lives to make others what he has made us.
