All In: Serving With Your All

Have you ever felt like the task was too much? Do you ever fear that you can’t meet expectations? Someone may tap us on the shoulder for a task we wish we could tap out of. We may get promoted and quickly feel like we’re in over our heads. Caregiving for family or friends may leave us feeling drained and depleted. We wonder: Can I really do this? When Jesus laid out God’s expectations for his people, the disciples came to this humbling realization and they cried out: Increase our faith! This is the beauty of the Christian life. Everything from start to finish is too much for us. We cannot come to Christ on our own or earn an ounce of our justification. Nor do we make ourselves faithful. But the same God who graces us with such important task makes us up to the task. The God of all faithfulness increases our faith so that we can carry out our responsibilities. In addition to that blessing, we enjoy a sense of satisfaction in bringing glory to his name in all we do!
