Come and See: The Creator

In today’s world, searching is easier than ever. Whether you’re looking for specific information, a particular product, or certain people, technology has put it all within our grasp. But what we’re all really searching for goes beyond that. We don’t just want information. We want truth. We don’t just want merchandise. We want to be content. We aren’t just looking for someone’s contact information. We want a deep connection. God made us for that. Today, we give thanks to God for the mothers who have given of themselves and remember how that love ultimately flows from the God who is love. This God has promised not to leave any of his children as orphans. He gives us his Spirit and makes his home with us. Not only does God love those who know him—he loves those who are far off. In Athens, Paul reveals the unknown God as the Maker of all things, the Sovereign over all nations, the Vanquisher of death, and the Judge of the living and the dead. We need not search for God because he has revealed himself to us, and we know his love!
